Cooling water (oil cooler heat exchanger) [Magnetic water treatment device Vol. 8]

The scale and water algae on the surface of the copper pipe have fallen off, improving thermal efficiency!

We would like to introduce a case of water quality purification and algae removal for cooling water of molding machines (for oil coolers). One month after the installation of the polarizer, the water treated with a powerful magnetic field of over 6000 Gauss showed that the colloidal components' zeta potential (interfacial potential) in the water decreased, causing suspended solids (S.S) in the water to aggregate and precipitate, resulting in clarity. Additionally, the scale and algae on the surface of the heat exchange copper pipes of the oil cooler in the water were removed, purifying the water quality and improving thermal efficiency. 【Case Study】 ■ Target Equipment and Purpose: Water quality purification and algae removal for cooling water of molding machines (for oil coolers) ■ Description - When the cooling circulation water is treated with the polarizer, impurities (S.S) in the water aggregate in the tank. - A phenomenon is observed where precipitation occurs, making the water very clear. - The reproducibility of this water quality purification is certain and is an important point for understanding the effects of the polarizer. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Cooling water (Plate heat exchanger for cogeneration) [Magnetic water treatment device Vol. 7]

We present a case where over 95% of the adhesion was removed, and cleaning was completed with a simple jet wash!

The cooling water for the diesel engine used for self-generation is cooled by a rooftop cooling tower through a plate-type heat exchanger. Every year, this plate-type heat exchanger would accumulate severe scale and dirt, requiring cleaning through acid washing. In comparison after the installation of the Polar system, over 95% of the buildup was eliminated, and cleaning was completed with a simple jet wash. Both the client and the management were very satisfied with the effectiveness of the Polar system. [Case Study] ■ Client: Major Supermarket (Hiroshima Prefecture) ■ Purpose: Scale prevention for self-generation plate-type heat exchanger ■ Installation: Polar model "PI-40F (3-point set)" installed in an independent circulation system for the cooling tower *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Cooling water (oil cooler of the molding machine) [Magnetic water treatment device Vol. 10]

Installed a set of three items: polar body, magnetic strainer, and flow meter at a major factory in Saitama Prefecture!

We would like to introduce a case of scale prevention, corrosion protection, and slime control for a 500RT turbo refrigeration unit at a major factory in Saitama Prefecture. A Polar magnetic water treatment device "PI-65C65A" was installed. When you open the inspection window for the flow meter, you can check the flow rate. Flow rate checks are required at least once a week. 【Case Study】 ■ Installation Purpose: Scale prevention, corrosion protection, and slime control for a 500RT turbo refrigeration unit ■ Installation Location: A major factory in Saitama Prefecture ■ Trial Operation Date: January 2011 ■ Polar Model: PI-65C65A (set including Polar main unit, magnetic strainer, and flow meter) ■ Installation Diagram: Installed with partial bypass method (processing capacity of 6500L/min × 10%) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Cooling water (refrigeration unit and oil cooler) [Magnetic water treatment device Vol. 9]

Effect on rust on the inner surface of pipes, how effective is it against scale adhesion?

When cooling circulating water is treated magnetically with a Polar Water Conditioner, tests were conducted to determine the effectiveness against rust on the inner surface of pipes and the extent of scale adhesion. The testing method involved two identical cooling systems; one was equipped with a Polar unit, allowing the circulating water to bypass and be treated magnetically, while the other remained untreated for comparison. The inner surface of the pipes using the Polar unit showed white calcium powder crystals adhering to the uneven surface of the pipes, effectively coating them (creating a corrosion-resistant film) and suppressing the progression of rust. In contrast, the untreated side exhibited less coating from calcium powder crystals, leading to increased rust progression. [Case Study] - Installation Location: A certain public factory in Tokyo - Test Duration: 1 year from June 1983 to July 1984 - Polar Installation Position: The Polar model "PI-32F (32A)" was installed in a partial bypass method to treat more than 15% of the circulating water volume. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Cooling Water (Open System) Scale Prevention and Corrosion Protection [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 11]

Polar installation record! A case where the coagulation and sedimentation of colloidal impurities in water were promoted.

A・A・W is a major car navigation manufacturer that has traditionally adopted Polar systems in other factories and recognized their effectiveness, leading to their full adoption in the newly established factory. In April 1998, the Okazaki new factory was completed, and three Polar units were installed for cooling water treatment. Due to the effectiveness of Polar, the coagulation and sedimentation of colloidal impurities in the water were promoted, resulting in high transparency of the water in the tank, with no signs of algae growth. [Case Study] ■ First unit: For C.T1000RT ・Polar model: PI-100F ■ Second unit: For cooling tower 600RT ・Polar model: PI-80F ■ Third unit: For cooling tower 300RT ・Polar model: PI-50F *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Compressor Cooling Water [Electromagnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 3]

Currently operating smoothly! Here is a case study of installation at a major tire manufacturer in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

This is a technical case study introducing the installation of the electromagnetic water treatment device "Hydroflow" to prevent scale and slime troubles in compressor cooling water and to conserve water. The cooling water system uses tap water as the supply, but the compressor occasionally stops due to high-pressure cut-off, requiring chemical cleaning each time. The factory operates 24 hours a day, so the cost of water treatment chemicals is high, and they were not being utilized. Therefore, the Hydroflow P60 (for 50A) was manually installed on the piping within the factory. As a result, it is currently being managed with manual blow-off, but chemical cleaning was performed two months prior to installation, and after installing the P60, scale and slime clogged the main pipe strainer, requiring cleaning once. It is currently operating smoothly. [Case Overview] ■ User: Major tire manufacturer (Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture) ■ Purpose: Prevention of scale and slime troubles in compressor cooling water and water conservation ■ Device: Hydroflow P60 (for 50A) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
